About the department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2008 from the inception of the college. The Department offers 4 years UG program in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 60. The course offers a deep insight into the design, development, manufacture and application of electronic devices, circuits and systems. Electronics and Communication Engineering lays greater emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental principles and state of the art knowledge about Electronic Devices and Circuits, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors, VLSI and Embedded systems, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Analog and Digital Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Microwave and Broadband Communications. The department has well-qualified and experienced faculty. They are also members of several important academic bodies.

The Department has a team of highly experienced and self-motivated faculty members tuning the young minds to be globally competitive. The strength of the department is its highly talented and motivated students who understand the requirements of the industry and upgrade accordingly. Through innovative teaching and learning process, students enhance their communication as well as critical thinking skills. Institution provides a platform for the students to enhance their employability skills through Industry-Institute interaction. PO 1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
